
Tenth Annual Suits for Session Service Project
A Service Project Brought to You by Volunteer Florida
Volunteer Florida announced that the 10th annual Suits for Session service project resulted in the collection of 3,833 items of professional attire.
The clothing will be donated to FSU ProfessioNole Clothing Closet, Orlando Bridge Community Release Center, and USF Suit-A-Bull Career Closet– organizations supporting Florida job-seekers striving to enter or re-enter the workforce.
Donation highlights include:
- Total Women’s Clothing and Accessories Collected: 2,099
- Total Women’s Suits: 194
- Total Men’s Clothing and Accessories Collected: 1,341
- Total Men’s Suits: 199
- Total Items Collected: 3,833
“We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our state agencies, legislative leaders, and friends across the state who helped us collect so many incredible items of professional wear,” said Volunteer Florida CEO Josie Tamayo. “With every item donated, we are providing confidence and support to job-seekers across our state.”
