Volunteer Florida’s Emergency Management department hosted the 7th Annual Emergency Management/ESF-15 Convening in Orlando on March 4th and 5th, 2024. This no-cost event brought together partners from across the state for emergency management training sessions, networking opportunities and leadership development.

Volunteer Florida 30th Anniversary Reception | January 24, 2024
To commemorate 30 years of service to the Sunshine State, Volunteer Florida held an Anniversary Reception to celebrate our impact in serving Florida’s communities. Our partnerships are the driving force behind the many accomplishments and positive impacts we have achieved, enabling us to promote disaster resiliency, increase national service, and foster volunteerism to advocate for our mission.

As Florida’s communities continue to recover from Hurricane Idalia, CEO Tamayo recently visited Yankeetown, Inglis, Cedar Key and other affected areas to show her support and gratitude to the many volunteers and partner organizations for their dedication to the long-term recovery efforts.
